Meet Wendy Wecksell (or “WxL” for short)
Founder Wendy Wecksell’s professional life sits at the intersection of wealth, work and family. Wendy has lived through the high stakes world of NexGen and family business, personally having encountered family legacy and inheritance herself — with all its ups, downs and lessons learned. She has the lived experience of a NextGen.
She’s partnered with UHNW families and brands throughout her career from Morgan Stanley, American Express, Chanel, NYU, The Sundance Institute, Tribeca Festival, (RED), Samueli Foundation, George Kaiser Family Foundation, Schusterman Family Philanthropies, Long Angle, Galaxy Gives, Founders Pledge, SF-based social club The Battery, and 8090 Partners, a private investment partnership of 23 industry-leading families and entrepreneurs.
She led the launch of the major donor giving collective at Pencils of Promise, and helped organize an executive-level exponential fundraising course at Harvard University’s Hauser Institute as well.
So many powerful businesses must be able to manage the intricacies of family dynamics — because so many businesses are deeply connected to the families that started them.
It’s time for executive and relationship coaching to enter the NextGen and family business sphere. WxL Partners is that coaching. We deliver a unique set of skills to our partners that allows them to go from the dinner table to the boardroom to the annual meeting without tension, overwhelm, and frustration.
